Ecos Technologies and The Traver Group Partner To
Deliver EHS Performance Management Solutions
(CHICAGO AND NEW YORK - March 15, 2004)
Ecos Technologies, Inc. and The Traver Group today announced
that they have combined efforts to deliver Environmental,
Health & Safety (EHS) performance management solutions in
the Republic of South Africa. Ecos Technologies is a
software and services company with a single focus on helping
customers drive EHS performance improvement. The Traver
Group is a consulting and technology services organization
that helps customers create enterprise-level information
technology (IT) solutions.
EHS Performance Management is a proactive approach to
achieving EHS performance targets and managing the
effectiveness of an EHS/ISO management system. In addition
to reporting on the results of past actions, it provides
leading and process metrics needed to proactively manage
both facility and corporate performance. It also makes it
possible to monitor and adapt work processes and metrics as
business and regulatory environments evolve.
Under terms of the agreement, The Traver Group will market
and resell Ecos Technologies' ECOSystem™ to South African
companies. ECOSystem is an EHS performance management
solution designed to leverage existing systems and
streamline EHS business processes, including performance
data collection, analysis and reporting. It provides a
common platform to reduce operating costs, minimize risk and
enhance corporate reputation.
Additionally, The Traver Group will facilitate the
implementation of ECOSystem through Bembani Information
Technology (Bembani Infotech). Bembani Infotech is an IT
firm based in Midrand, South Africa and a joint venture
between The Traver Group and The Bembani Group, which
provides world-class sustainability and IT services in South
Africa. Bembani Infotech will also offer localized support
to ECOSystem customers.
Ecos Technologies and The Traver Group will represent their
joint EHS performance management solutions at the South
African Sustainability Conference hosted by Bembani
Sustainability Training and the Centre for Environmental
Management on the 15th-17th March 2004.
